Exit and Login URLs
When users log out of Agiloft by clicking the Log Out button, they are taken to the URL defined as the ExitURL. When users are logged out automatically for any reason, such as incorrect login or password or timeout, they are taken to the URL defined as the LoginURL. These URLs are defined on a server and KB level using the Exit URL and Login URL global variables. By setting these global variables to the URL of your main login or support page, you can ensure that users are never taken to the default system login screen, where they would need to manually enter the name of the KB to log back in to the system.
The URLs defined in the Exit URL and Login URL global variables can be overridden in:
- A custom login block. For more information about creating a custom login block, see How do Users Access the System?
- A hyperlink. For more information about creating hyperlinks in emails, see Hyperlinks in Emails. For more information about creating custom hyperlinks, refer to the Hyperlinks topic.
For information about customizing global variables, see Global Variables.
