First, create an account with ProProfs, our external training platform. ProProfs contains the modules, videos, and quizzes that make up the training course.

  3. In the prompt that appears, click Login. You're taken to the ProProfs classroom, but do not start the training yet.

Step 2: Open Your Knowledgebases

Next, access the two knowledgebases (KB) that have been created for you. A KB is an instance of the   Agiloft software.

  • Practice KB: Use this KB to complete the practice exercises in the training course.
  • Example KB: Use this KB to check your work or find help if you get stuck. The Example KB is a finished, built-out knowledgebase that reflects the system after all the practice exercises have been completed.

You can open your KBs in two ways:

  • Directly access your Training Signup record:
    1. Click the link in the welcome email, enter your Support Portal login credentials, and click OK.
    2. Click Login to Practice KB and Login to Example KB.
  • Log in to the Support Portal:
    1. Go back to the Support Portal and, if necessary, log back in.
    2. Click the My Profile tab.
    3. In the Training Signups embedded table, click Login to Practice KB and Login to Example KB.

Step 3: Begin the Training Course

After you create your ProProfs account and open your KBs, you can begin the training course.

  1. Go to the ProProfs classroom.

You can always get to the ProProfs classroom by directly accessing your Training Signup record from the training welcome email or by logging in to the Support Portal and clicking the My Profile tab. From either location, click Go to Online Training.

  2. Click Start on Unit 1, and select the Agiloft Introduction and Overview module to begin. The training is designed to be taken sequentially, so make sure to complete the units, modules, and practice exercises in order.

View the Training Course Without Signing Up

If desired, you can view the training course without signing up by using the below links. Because the system does not generate training knowledgebases when you view the training this way, you won't be able to complete the practice exercises.

When you access the training course without signing up, you are still prompted for your name and email in ProProfs. If your email is already on file, you'll be asked if you want to resume the training course. Otherwise, you will simply start the training.
