Cost Centers is a simple background table that can hold cost centers, or accounting codes, for your company. It is optional, and records can be imported into it for use with the system. It has been set up with some demo data that can be deleted and replaced with your own data.

Cost Centers are linked to a specific department and can be shown within the department record.

They may be marked as Inactive if they become obsolete. Records that were linked to an inactive cost center will continue to be linked to it, but the inactive cost centers will not be available for selection for new records.

Cost Centers are used for Contract Budgeting and Sourcing Event Budgeting.
