This background table holds the various goods and services that can be associated with a Supplier company. These records can be used to filter Supplier companies when selecting Suppliers to invite to Sourcing Events.

Use Case

Every Supplier in the Companies Table has a linked table in their record which displays a list of the goods and services they provide in record form. The Goods and Services table is that linked table. Goods and Services records are very simple. They contain a Status of either Active or Inactive, a Supply Category, a Name, and a Description.

The Standard System Demo contains this list of Supply Categories by default. For example, if a Supplier company offered boating as a service, they would choose Transporting and Warehousing as the Supply Category in their Good and Service record for Boats.
