This table holds a template for each table that records are imported into. The import order of each table can be defined in the import template records. Each import template record identifies the import table and the next import table. Only the records connected to each other in a chain will be imported.
There is just one edit rule for this table, called Import template edit actions by web or API. The import templates are converted into import Log records to launch the actual import. The conversion maps only three fields: The Source Import Template ID field, the Import Table field, and the Import Summary ID.
The conversion happens when an import template is updated by a rule from another table to set the Flag to convert to Import Log field to Yes and to map the linked Latest Import Summary ID, so the new record will be linked back to the proper Import Summary.
The first import template to run is launched from the Import Summary record as described above. The subsequent import templates are triggered from the import log record generated by the preceding import template, when it is completed.
