User Interfaces

Agiloft is designed to be used by users with varying roles, responsibilities, and levels of permissions. The system is designed to be heavily customized to meet the needs of the different types of users in your organization. The out-of-the-box system is set up to categorize the types of users as internal users, employees within your organization, and external users, such as suppliers, service providers, and other external parties. As such, the system includes two user interfaces: the Power User Interface and the End User Interface. Each user accesses one of the two interfaces based on their permissions, specifically their assigned primary team.

  • Power User Interface: Designed for internal use by employees. This is the most permissive interface, with full access to manage features like dashboards and reports, record layouts, and document templates. Power users potentially have access to all tables with the ability to view and edit all records in a table. The extent of the access allowed for specific users is controlled by the permissions for their assigned group. Administrators also log in to the Power User Interface and have access to the admin Setup menu, where they can set up integrations, perform system configuration, manage tables and permissions, and import and export data.
  • End User Interface (EUI): Designed for use by external users. This is a simplified version of the Power User Interface with considerably fewer options. The out-of-the-box system includes different portals with access to specific functionality, allowing different types of end users to interact with Agiloft in a way that is targeted and relevant to the workflows they are expected to complete. The portal an end user sees is based on their group membership.

In short, out-of-the-box power users manage contracts and the system's handling of the contract lifecycle. End users may request, view, and work with contracts, but they don’t alter workflows or processes.
