Knowledge Management

The goal of IT Knowledge Management is to make information available and easy to maintain. Agiloft has several tables designed to maintain the service knowledge management system.

Knowledge Articles are available for review and/or creation throughout the system.  They can be created from within service requests, incidents, problems, change requests, configuration items, services, and elsewhere.  They can be viewed from within several other tables, as well as directly within the Knowledge Articles table.

Users can subscribe to particular topics to be notified when new materials on those topics are published.

The knowledge management functionality is described in more detail in the following sections.
