Agiloft App for Salesforce

Use this page to integrate Agiloft and Salesforce using the Integration Hub and the Agiloft App for Salesforce. With the app, the main features allow you to:

  • Sync Salesforce Accounts to Agiloft Companies
  • Sync Salesforce Opportunities to Agiloft Opportunities
  • Create an Agiloft Contract while in Salesforce
  • View Contract Status in Salesforce

Prerequisites

  • Have access to Salesforce Admin privileges

This is the recommended integration method for connecting your KB to Salesforce. However, if you have a prior integration configured, you can refer to Legacy Salesforce Integration for more information.

Setting up the app

To connect your systems, you need to perform a few steps in both Salesforce and Agiloft.

In Salesforce:

Until the app is available in AppExchange, use the link and password provided by your Agiloft representative to install the app. Follow any directions given on screen.

Setup the Salesforce Recipes in Integration Hub.

  1. Navigate to Setup > Integration Hub. If that option doesn't appear, visit Integration Hub.
  2. You can check Recipes under the Library tab. Click on Recipes under Community Library and search for "Agiloft". Add all of the Salesforce recipes to your Library by clicking into the recipe and clicking on the Use thi Recipe button. Select which folder you would like the recipes to be added to. 
  3. Recipes come with instructions and explanations in each step, please read each set and configure the recipe as needed.

Using the app

The Agiloft app homepage in Salesforce shows your accounts, and includes tabs for Agiloft Contracts, as well as the Opportunities object and Accounts object. 

To use the app, simply perform work as usual and data will sync between Agiloft and Salesforce.

If you want to change any of the fields that are synced:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Integration Hub. If that option doesn't appear, visit Integration Hub.
  2. You can check your recipes under the Recipes tab and navigate to the recipe you would like to edit.  If you have a use case not addressed in your Recipes, you can always create your own Recipes or contact your Agiloft representative.  For information on creating Recipes, visit Workato's Building Recipes page. 

Customizing the app

By default, the integration includes several out-of-the-box recipes for syncing data from opportunities, companies, accounts, and contracts. You can modify these, as well as fields.

To modify the fields that appear when following workflows in Salesforce:

  1.  In the Integration Hub, open a recipe.
  2. Click a section of the recipe to open a pane to the right.
  3. To edit, click Stop Recipe.
  4. Modify the Fields by adding or removing fields to the Fields to retrieve field.
  5. When the fields have been modified, click Start Recipe.
